A Sunday morning, not too soon, is the perfect time to enjoy a brunch, an American import in relation to food and lifestyle. But what is a brunch? The word is a mixture of breakfast (breakfast) and lunch (lunch). It is a breakfast-meal that is normally reserved for Sundays between twelve and four in the afternoon. It is a very common custom in the United States when people wake up late and, interestingly, I heard about it for the first time in several episodes of Sex in New York, in which the protagonists enjoyed this meal in the most select places in Manhattan.
However, to enjoy a good brunch It is not necessary to fly to the city of skyscrapers. In Barcelona, for example, you can taste one of the brunch most select of the city in the hotel Barceló Raval.
The hotel is located on the Rambla del Raval, one of the most cosmopolitan neighborhoods with the most identity of the city, where Pakistani-run supermarkets and museums and hotels more chic of the city converge in a strange symbiosis.
The avant-garde decoration of the hotel has black as the predominant color and, upon entering, you can perfectly imagine Carrie and her friends taking a Bloody mary in the bar. In our case, the brunch started with a Bloody Raval, a natural orange juice or a glass of cava. In summer (from June to October) these drinks can be taken on the panoramic terrace from the hotel located on the eleventh floor, which offers stunning views of the city.
