That morning we had planned not to get up very early, but in the end we had to get up early because breakfast was served at 7.30 am. We went down to the dining room to have a typical Japanese breakfast. At 8.10 the bus was taking to the train station and there we took the express train to Nagano and there the bullet train to Takasaki.Typical Japanese breakfast, except tea and rice, everything was cold.
Takasaki is a city like Gava could be. With shopping centers and quite badly communicated inside. The reason to go there was to see my good friend Mo, whom I had not seen for almost two years. Those glasses of ice cream that we had in a chic pastry shop
that was in the middle of an area of industrial buildings ...
He was waiting for us at the train station and we went to eat at a Chinese restaurant near there. We were all three talking about his year living in Shanghai and how crazy the Chinese and the Japanese are. After lunch, he went to Tokyo and we went shopping. We attack my favorite Japanese clothing store: Uniqlo. Uniqlo is like the Japanese Zara but the designs are of higher quality and cheaper prices. Then we went to another mecca in Japan, Don Quijote. The Donki is a store where they sell everything, and they have super geeky things. There I bought some hot patches for cold and Japanese food to bring me home.As I said, in the Donki they sell super geeks things, like these face reducers.
Then we came to find Mo's husband and went to dinner at an izakaya (Japanese tavern) that specialized in dishes with melted cheese (!) And then we went to do some karaoke sessions. It was really fun.
